lullaboy and Raissa Anggiani unite for “the perfect boy-girl duet” in ‘life with u’ – watch

lullaboy and Raissa Anggiani have joined forces for an acoustic single. 

Today (1 December), the Indonesian-Singaporean singer-songwriter and the Indonesian pop sensation announced an acoustic rendition of the former’s ‘life with u’ single. The collaboration comes after lullaboy’s duet challenge on TikTok, which was quickly picked up by Raissa.

The charming track highlights the artists’ genuine love and respect for each other’s talents. 

“I’ve waited for years for a collaboration like this. I always wanted to wait for the perfect moment […] the perfect boy-girl duet. I’ve been a big fan of Raissa’s for a while now, and I’m incredibly proud and honored to have such a genuine artist embellish the most important song I’ve written so far,” lullaboy shared in a press release. 

The ‘Kau Rumahku’ act also expressed her sincere gratitude for the partnership: “Bernard – or lullaboy, as he’s more affectionately known – is one of a kind. He’s so pure and genuine, towards music as well as his outlook on life. Collaborating with him on this track was the easiest decision to make. It was such a pleasure and honor to be involved.”

The original version of ‘life with u’ was initially released in August 2023, which has since garnered over three million streams across digital platforms. Now with a stripped-back version, the love ballad amplifies the hushed tunes of guitar and piano and the duo’s ethereal vocals, making it the “perfect soundtrack for any love story”.

‘life with u – acoustic’ is now available for streaming on all digital streaming platforms including Spotify and YouTube.
